Common Mistakes to Avoid in SSB Psychology Test
The Psychology Test in SSB is a critical part of assessment where candidates often make unintentional mistakes that can affect their results. Here are some key mistakes to avoid:
- Writing Negative or Defensive Responses – Avoid writing negative stories in TAT or defensive reactions in SRT. Always focus on problem-solving approaches.
- Using Repetitive Themes – Candidates often make the mistake of bringing military, sports, or leadership elements in every answer. Keep your responses diverse and balanced.
- Forcing Creativity in WAT – Instead of trying to construct unique or complex sentences, go with natural and simple responses.
- Skipping Too Many SRT Questions – While it’s fine to leave a few, skipping too many situations indicates indecisiveness or lack of mental agility.
- Exaggeration in Self-Description – Avoid over-glorifying yourself. The assessors look for honesty and self-awareness.
- Writing Incomplete or Unclear Responses – In all four tests, make sure your sentences are grammatically correct and convey a clear idea.
By avoiding these mistakes and maintaining a natural, positive, and structured approach, you can improve your chances of performing well in the SSB Psychology Test.
