1. What you were doing in the waiting room before coming to interview room?

2. How your performance was in other tests i.e. GTO/Psychology ? If it was not as expected, give reasons for same.

3. Explain the meaning of your “NAME” and who gave it to you ?

4. From where you got your school education ?

5. What percentage of marks you scored in your 10th, 12th standard /graduation.

6. How many members are there in your family ?

7. With whom you spend more time or to whom you are closer ? To your father / mother or someone else ? Also give reason for same.

8. What your parents’ do for living i.e. their occupation ?

9. How many friends do you have ?

10. Give the name of your best friend/friends and why he/she is your best friend ?

11. Give the name of your favorite subject during school/college/graduation and why so ?

12. Which subject you hates the most and gives reason for same.

13. Who was/were your favorite teacher during school/collage ? Give reason for same.

14. Give the name of teacher you hate the most and give reason for hate.

15. Tell about your colleague /Boss (if you are working somewhere).

16. Give a short intro of your village/ hometown / districts & state or the place of maximum residence ?

17. How you came to SSB Selection Centre i.e. by bus/train/plain ?

18. How was your journey to SSB Centre ? Give a short description of your journey e.g. Travel Time/in between Stations etc.

19. Which tourist places you have visited at the selection centre city or planning to visit ?

20. How was the quality of food served to you in candidate mess ?

21. Why you want to join Defence & Armed forces ?

22. Give your views on Delhi Elections.

23. Give your views on AAM AADMI PARTY.

24. How you prepared for the SSB ?

25. If you are not selected for defence, what are your future plans ?

26. How you performed in your GTO/Psychology Task ?

27. Questions on sports/Physical activity you mentioned in your PIQ Form e.g. Long running. How much time you take for 1 km/5km etc.

28. How you prepared for written exam ?

29. Question one your personal life e.g. Girl Friend/Boyfriend etc.

30. How much pocket money you get and how does you spend it ?

Some important Guidelines for Personal Interview

1. Never try to extend your interview .The time duration of your interview doesn’t decide your selection or rejection in SSB Interview.

2. Fill your PIQ (Personal Information Questionnaire) carefully because interviewing officer will definitely ask question based on your entries in various particulars in the PIQ.

3. If interviewing officer asks you something and you don’t know the answer, then you are advised to simply accept it in a polite manner. Telling lie or wrong facts will not increase your marks.

4. Candidates, before going for SSB Interview, you are advised to update your knowledge on current affairs/latest events of national and international importance. You may face some questions on it.

5. Take care of proper dress code. By dress code, we mean to say you may try following combination.

Dress code for Personal Interview

Pant – Dark color pant. Black is the best choice.

Shirt – Light color shirt .You may try white or light blue.

Shoes – leather shoes with laces (Preferably Black)

Socks – Black /White/Brown

Belt – Leather (preferably black or brown)

Note – Female candidates may also wear above combination or light color Suits/Sarees. (It’s all depend on their wish)
